OZONE THERAPY

Ozone therapy has been used by health and medical professionals for more than 150 years, with benefits shown for a variety of health problems ranging from autoimmune diseases to viral diseases including AIDS, cancer, Lyme disease, mould exposure etc.

Unlike medications and herbs, ozone can be successfully used in essentially every medical condition regardless of the diagnosis. Scientific studies have shown ozone therapy to be effective in the treatment of.

What is Medical Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is the use of medical ozone, a mixture of medical oxygen and medical ozone gases, for therapeutic purposes. Medical ozone is a colourless gas which has a pungent smell. It is simply a highly reactive moiety of oxygen that is able to safely and easily initiate a series of biological reactions in the body that is very valuable.

Ozone in Nature

Ozone, a molecule composed of three oxygen atoms, plays a crucial role in nature. Most prominently known for forming the ozone layer in the Earth’s stratosphere, it acts as a protective shield, absorbing and filtering the majority of the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. At ground level, ozone participates in atmospheric processes, contributing to air quality by breaking down pollutants. Additionally, ozone is present in varying concentrations in the lower atmosphere, where it influences chemical reactions and helps maintain the delicate balance of our planet’s ecosystems.

History of Ozone Highlights

Medically used ozone has been used as a tool to sanitize medical supplies and blood and used therapeutically since 1857.

1896:  Nicola Tesla patented his first ozone generators

1914: WW1, ozone was used to treat wounds, trench foot, effects of poison gas, etc.

1915 – In Berlin, Dr Albert Wolff used ozone for colon cancer, cervical cancer and decubitus ulcers.

1926 – Dr Otto Warburg of the Kaiser Institute in Berlin (and the only person ever to receive two Nobel Prizes for Medicine in 1931 and 1944 and also nominated for a third) announced the cause of cancer is lack of oxygen at the cellular level.

1929 – “Ozone and Its Therapeutic Action” published in the US listing 114 diseases and how to treat them with ozone. Authors were the heads of all the leading American hospitals.

1980 – Dr Horst Kief reports success treating AIDS with ozone.

2023 – Ozone therapy is a recognised modality in many nations: Germany, France, Italy, Russia, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Israel, Cuba, Japan, Mexico and in five US states.

Is Medical Ozone Therapy Safe

The medical use of ozone has a safety history that is unprecedented in the history of medicine. It is the single safest therapy in the history of medicine. It is much safer than the use of aspirin. (Jacobs M, 1986;5:1-5)
